What is not reported by this story is the fact that the university arranged for a meeting between Equality Riders and students, staff and parents. Equality Riders indicated that the meeting was too restrictive, and opted to create a public display by knowingly trespassing where university officials asked them not to go. http://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/local/palmbeach/sfl-1013-equality-ride,0,7288601.story

It shouldn't be strange that they were not allowed in chapel. Really, if you were having a service to honor GLBT leaders, would you knowingly allow in a group whose sole purpose for being there is to disagree with what you believe?
