The Blood Work boys are back talking about Episode 11 of True Blood:
Pardon my reference to the 90's nonclassic horror movie Pet Sematary, but in this week's Blood Work (much like the True Blood episode that inspired it) we learn that sometimes it's best to leave dead enough alone.
Yes, much like babyvamp Jessica, Andy has returned from the grave ... with a few noticeable differences. Join us as we discuss the penultimate episode of the ever-wacky vampire series, complete with mysterious social workers, a fresh corpse, and a big reveal months in the making.
And did you guys see that Huck Maddow's replacement the past two nights (NO, not Arianna) Alison Stewart let it slip that she loves the show? Yup.

Movies: From Indiewire: "Director Yair Hochner's 'Antarctica' is set in Tel Aviv and centers on an interconnected group of friends and their various relationships. At the crux is the adorably bookish Omer, about to turn 30, who still hasn't found himself, and his free-spirited best friend Miki, who both end up inadvertently dating the same handsome journalist, Ronen. Frozen in place, they and their assorted family members and lovers all seek the same thing--a guiding light to show them that love is still out there." Open in LA Friday, November 14. (1:59)

I've been dying for this. Wait, I didn't mean that pun! Could you imagine! But I have been looking forward to this week's Blood Work Vlog - the best and smartest take on my favorite TV show, "True Blood."
Brian Juergens, the Blood Work co-chair, writes:"Inspired by Eddie, Jason and Amy's twisted little game of "vampire house", Andy and I decided this week to tie Andy to a lawnchair to discuss Episode 10 of True Blood.
Um ... it didn't go so well.
In lighter news, we were delighted to learn that this week the folks at HBO have made Blood Work the featured item on the show's official fan page. We're thrilled to be spreading our foul gospel to more fans of the show, and even more thrilled at the special presents they were kind enough to send us ... which we'll be featuring next week. If you run into any new folks in the darkened hallways of the comments section, do give them a friendly AfterElton welcome!"
The "True Blood" vlog "Blood Work" is late coming out this week (I think everyone is suffering from post-election fatigue), but it's worth checking out if you want to feel fully prepared for this Sunday's new episode. The Blood Work vlog really is the best breakdown of each episode of "True Blood." Um, but in this episide, just go ahead and ignore the whole cat thing. This episode runs about 13 minutes.

Television: The Blood Work Vlog says, "In this very special episode, my better half Andy and I carve True Blood Jack-O-Lanterns and discuss the latest episode, in which all kinds of crazy crap went down. (If you'd like to make your own Vampire Bill-o-Lantern or Fangtasia Gourd, the templates are available over here.) Tacky gay vampires, dirty cemetery sex, ice cream sundaes and more ... check it all out, after the break!"
Movies: The Haunting of Molly Hartley - "In this tale of spell binding suspense, something evil lurks just beneath the lush surfaces of teenaged girl’s private school world - and it holds the rights to her very soul. Now, on the eve of her 18th birthday, Molly Hartley is about to discover the truth of just who, or rather what, it is she is destined to become." Uh, yeah. That sounds like a lot going on. This is part of the pre-Halloween theme, and it's also a reason to check out the movie's co-star, Chace Crawford.
Politics: McCain's ad: "Obama not ready . . . yet." What the hell does that mean? Read my take.
