I don't usually care what people do for sex online, offline, whatever. But I have just learned two new bits of information about Clay Aiken that might give us a little insight into something other than where and how Clay Aiken has sex.

It looks like Clay Aiken is back on Manhunt. Via notsoglamorous it looks like he is back on the Manhunt prowl. Back to the online world of dirty sex and anonymous hookups and webcam solo sessions. Good for him! I mean, he's a new dad, but even daddy's need some gay sex now and then. Ever heard of a DILF? Yup, that's Clay Aiken. Go to it, Clay!

But here's the thing. I just confirmed with Clay's former publicist at RCA that he has been dropped from his label. Why? Does RCA have something against the gays? They wouldn't drop him because he just came out, would they? Poor Clay. The last thing a new gay dad needs is to have his career threatened because he's gay. I know. I watch Mad Men. You don't think he's doing what that monstrous article in Out magazine says we do? He's not feeling bad and lonely and reaching out to strangers to fill some . . . lack, now that his career is over? Is he? He's not trying to make up for Spamalot by reaching out to the first gay thing that comes along on the internet, is he?

Nah. He's just horny.

" I just confirmed with Clay's former publicist at RCA that he has been dropped from his label. "

Wow, for real? Did they drop him because he came out?

Between 8 shows a week on broadway and a newborn at home, I don't think he has the time or the energy. repeating nasty rumors is not nice. tsk tsk.

oh, i'm pretty sure these are more than just rumors.
one of them has been confirmed by RCA Records and the other is nothing for him to be ashamed of...well...

wow. not a fun time to be a claymate...especially a female one...with delusions.

It wouldn't be surprising if RCA and Clay parted company, but why would his publicist at RCA confirm the split to a blogger knowing, I assume, that you would publish the information? Is it because you're the first person who asked? Why would you ask?

I thought once Clay came out that people would back off the obsession with his private life. I feel bad for the guy. A gay man trying to connect with another gay man is hardly scandalous IMO.

Pork, fans won't be upset about Clay parting with RCA. RCA dropped four other "idols" last year and they have all found a way to continue with their careers.

dauntless, i can always count on the undying loyalty from the claymates to paint a sunny face on a grey situation. surely you will all still be excited about the schmaltz he'll no doubt be able to release independently. you say the dropped idols have been able to continue their careers, but we both know that's being more than optimistic. taylor hicks probably couldn't be picked out of a lineup and ruben studdard? are you kidding me with that one? these are not healthy careers.

and to portia...poor thing...doesn't even want to ask questions because she knows she doesn't want the answer.
people ask questions because the answers update what's true. sorry that you may not have liked this particular newsflash, but this site happens to be the first to report the "news" and i think it's pretty interesting.
i feel for clay.
i wish him well.
